Ladies, fashion could literally save your life!

Zoe Turner never knew that looking good would save her life
Weird news

Ladies, it's vitally important that you all you start wearing body hugging dresses in case you are ever in a serious accident, or at least that's how I read this gem reported on by the UK Telegraph.

Zoe was travelling in a Taxi to her West Yorkshire home when the cab was hit by a cement truck. The impact broke the drivers neck and put his head through the windshield, Zoe's friend suffered broken arms, eye sockets and pelvises and Zoe herself suffered a fractured pelvis, fractured vertebra and broken sternum.

Zoe had this to say to the UK Telegraph about the incident and how she survived:

"The pain and restriction my dress was causing was unbearable and I stumbled out of the car," she said.

"The doctors told me that if I hadn't worn such a tight dress which held in place my bones as the car impacted, I would have most definitely punctured vital organs as my bones went out of place."

I couldn't believe my dress saved my life," she said.

"That's the best £35 I've ever spent."

Believe it or not the doctor's aren't mad.  During WW2 the US military experimented with all kind of constrictive clothing like emergecy sets of high pressure inflatable pants and body suits to stem the flow of blood in patients that had suffered explosive trauma or were riddled with bullets.  All you have to do is buy a formal dress!
